Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole masoor dal (red lentils), soaked for 8 hours or overnight

- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
- 1 inch piece ginger, grated

Instructions:
- Drain and grind: Drain the soaked masoor dal and grind it into a coarse paste using a food processor or blender. Add water as needed for a thick batter consistency.
